base/complexion products to get this kind of fresh, glowy base

okay so i posted the second pic in a drugstore makeup subreddit and the only response i got was “a filter”. literally just that. obviously i deleted it because that’s embarrassing but can somebody PLEASE help me 😭

i have pretty dry skin, maybe some oiliness around my nose but that area also gets a little flaky. i was a matte base warrior up until like august of last year because my eczema from when i was a baby just randomly came back lmao. anyway, ive converted and since then ive found out that my face type (type? archetype? whatever it’s called) is ingenue, so this kind of makeup should suit me best. the problem is that i genuinely have, at most, about four products that could achieve this style at the moment so i can’t do a full face.

majority of the advice and tips i’ve seen is mixing a thin cream, serum or milky toner into your foundation, using a highlighting balm (like the hince one) and of course, really hydrating and dewy skin prep. i just ordered a couple new skincare products to try so now i kinda just need some complexion recommendations, like highlighter, primer etc. a few of the products ive been considering are the red tirtir fixing spray, the missha glowy balm, the hince highlighter balm & the canmake mermaid gel. if anyone has any other recommendations, experience with these products or any techniques i can try to achieve this base, it’d be really appreciated!
