Hi everyone! I’ve seen Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum and Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel or Essence being constantly recommended here in this sub, especially for those with oily, acne prone skin, which I also have 🥲
I live in the Philippines, so the climate is hot, humid, and sweat-inducing all day long. I’m looking for a lightweight sunscreen that:
• Doesn’t make me extra shiny or greasy
• Is comfortable for oily skin
• Feels light and breathable
• Won’t clog pores or break me out
• Is easy to remove with a gentle cleanser (no harsh double cleansing)
• Good for daily wear & reapplication
If you’ve tried either (or both), I’d really appreciate if you could share:
• How did it look on your skin? (matte, dewy, greasy?)
• Did it hold up well throughout the day in the heat?
• Any breakouts or reactions?
• Which one would you repurchase and why?
Thanks in advance! I’m trying to decide between the two since they’re the top suggestions I see here 💙

I use both Skin 1004 and Skin Aqua UV gel – the first one for low exposure and the other for high exposure. They’re both lightweight and good for my oily acne prone skin. I’d say Skin Aqua is naybe a bit lighter because it’s alcohol based (but it doesn’t dry me out).
Idk.. the skin aqua uv gel gets pretty damn shiny when it is hot out or when i sweat. I’ve had someone ask what is on my face or tell me i’m sweating when i wear it certain days lol
