I literally came to post about this. I was so so so appreciative to receive this email as someone who lost their mother. I haven’t bought from them yet but I’m 100% more inclined to now.

I really appreciate this, too! I got a similar email this morning from United Airlines:
Even though I’ve had my own email filters set up for this reason for years now, I hope that more companies will begin to offer opting out as an option, because it’s tough to be reminded of holidays that you keep trying to avoid.

I wish companies would just refrain from using Mother’s Day to sell stuff altogether. This is a step in the right direction though.
