So in 2026 I decided to go on a no buy for makeup and skincare (and haircare and body care but that's by the by) and so far so good. This month I've finished 5 items and I've not repurchased anything as my ginormous stash is clearly able to provide replacements 🙊. My January empties are:
Alteya Organics Rose Otto Wonder Balm: I used this as a lip balm and for dry patches around my nose. It has the consistency of stiff Vaseline, took me years to finish and I wouldn't repurchase as I don't need this kind of product in my life. 👎
No7 Protect & Perfect Intense SPF50 Facial Sun Protection: My favourite SPF and UVA 5* product, I have another 4 of these in stock so I'm good for 2026. Will continue to repurchase. 👍
CeraVe Blemish Control Gel Mini: I got ten uses out of this. I don't think it helped with my blemishes. 👎
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + 1% Zinc: I'm super oily and I use this at night sometimes. I don't know if it works to reduce oils or whether I'm just fooling myself. I have another in my stash and I opened it already. 👍
The Ordinary High-Adherence Primer: Does primer do anything? I keep using it and I think it makes a bit of a difference, especially in winter. I like the consistency of this one and I have another of these in my stash. I am currently using other primers that I have open though. 👍
