Had to say goodbye to (all) my old Make Up Forever Artist Eyeshadows (shades in photo 2) even though I only panned 1 shade after 6 years (got them in 2020, thanks to Coldemort shopping). Went to swatch some for a look and ended up getting an allergic reaction. Not surprised that finally (after so many years) the product needs to be tossed but filled with nostalgia for my 20s and the collector mentality I had when I bought them. Sad part is, MUFE definitely reformulated since when I bought these and (no surprise to anyone) discontinued most of these shades and finishes that I loved so well. These were super pigmented and blendable and I loved playing with these and making looks year-round. I will keep these for a separate art project/painting or craft but honestly I am "tossing" them from my makeup collection. RIP.

For this year, I was gifted a neutral Estee Lauder Glow palette for the holidays. I just started it and it will be my project pan for 2026. My goal is to actually pan these before the year is out and they expire. It's really only 2 finishes (matte and satin) and I will stick to eyeliner pencils /eyeshadow sticks for "special" colors. My goal is to go on an eyeshadow no-buy for this year so I dont repeat my earlier mistakes. Wish me luck fam.

If you’re ever looking for shades like that again try Sydney Grace or Clionadh Cosmetics. I really don’t understand why most mainstream cosmetics companies don’t offer much beyond neutrals anymore.

I’m surprised that they expired after 6 years. I thought powder lasted wayyy longer.
