Here are my October empties a bit late. I crossed off the DKNY perfume from my 25 in 2025 project pan, so now I've finished both perfumes I set out to pan by the end of the year.
Schwartzkopf ☆ Gliss Total Repair Spray: My go-to detangling spray. It helps keep my hair free from knots and smells nice too. WRP.
Bynoor ☆ Hair Oil: I didn't like it, because it's a bottle of perfumed silicone rather than an actual hair oil. It has five ingredients; the first two ingredients are silicones, third is fragrance, and the last two ingredients are oils. I would use it to smooth my hair in the morning, but it's not a proper hair oil so I couldn't use it for that purpose. At least it smelled okay and didn't weigh down my hair. WNRP.
Shiseido ☆ Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask: It had a nice gel-cream texture, smelled amazing, made my hair feel smooth, and made brushing easier. It rinsed off easily and didn't weigh down my hair. I have no complaints about it. WRP.
Pixi ☆ Makeup Fixing Mist: It was an okay fixing mist, but the mister felt flimsy and wasn't fine enough for my liking. Sometimes the droplets were large enough to disrupt my makeup. Otherwise it was fine. It melted down powders well and felt unnoticeable on the skin. WNRP.
Maybelline ☆ Fit Me Concealer in 05 Ivory: I've never finished a concealer as quickly as this one. It was full-coverage yet lightweight on the skin, and I didn't experience any pilling or separation with it. It had a very natural, hydrating look to it. The shade match was perfect and not too warm-toned at all. I've already repurchased it and will continue using it. WRP.
La Roche-Posay ☆ Anthelios UVmune Invisible Fluid SPF50+: This was by far the thinnest, wateriest sunscreen I've ever used. I was rotating between this and two other sunscreens throughout the summer, and I would use this on days that it was sunny but not suffocatingly hot. The texture felt very light and comfortable on the skin, and it blended in like a dream. The only issue for me was that it stung my eyes. There were times that an hour after applying it I'd start to feel it stinging. Otherwise it was great. WRP.
La Roche-Posay ☆ Anthelios UVmune Oil Control Gel-Cream SPF50+: This was also one of the sunscreens I was rotating through during summer. It worked amazingly during hot weather and made my makeup stay put better. The texture is quite thick but blends in well and feels comfortable on the skin. I didn't experience any irritation or eye-stinging with it. I might return to it next summer. WRP.
I'm From ☆ Licorice Cream: It was okay, but I'm glad I got the smaller size. It was hydrating, had a dewy (almost glistening) finish, didn't pill, and felt nice on the skin. I didn't find it particularly soothing and it wouldn't be moisturising enough for me during winter. It was a pretty basic gel-cream moisturiser. WNRP.
DKNY ☆ Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty Perfume: The scent was partially fruity and partially floral, very refreshing and perfect for summer. It stayed on well, never irritated my skin, and the bottle was pretty too. WRP.
