I was curious about this one and hadn't seen many reviews. I've been testing it out for a few days now.
I have light medium, combination skin and live in the UK.
Overall this is really nice and I think it will be a new favourite, I'm surprised there isn't more hype. I would recommend for anyone with sensitive, combination skin like myself. It feels hydrating and soothing on application, blends in quickly with no white cast, and dries down to a soft satin finish. There's no scent and no pilling under makeup, in fact it makes a nice base for my makeup as I don't use primer.
My other favourite sunscreen is the haruharu wonder one in the yellow tube, and I feel they are comparable. They are both lightweight but still have a bit of body to them compared to something like the skin1004 centella. I would say the isntree has a slightly runnier consistency and dries down a little more matte. If you have very dry skin you would probably need moisturizer underneath or a dewier sunscreen.

It’s interesting how texture perception can shape how we rate sunscreens, their reads like a perfect example, the formula details you gave make me think of how user comfort sometimes outweighs even the spf rating in long term repurchase decisions, makes me wonder if that’s why this one hasn’t blow up yet despite ticking so many boxesÂ
