(Was going to use slow aging but after a quick search here realised they actually mean different content!)
31F, oily/ combo skin. Acne and bad skin during teenage years. I used to focus a lot on makeup for coverage, but then realised it’s skincare and protecting my skin barrier that matters!
I want to shift my routine to more anti-aging now that I’ve entered my 30s and my skin condition is mostly stable. What skincare products would you recommend?
Would be open to venture into more pricier range too 🙂
What I use currently for cleansing:
1. Physical exfoliation: Beauty of Joseon apricot peeling gel.
2. Chemical exfoliation: Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA.
3. Cleanser: Senka perfect whip.
4. Makeup remover: Beauty of Joseon balm.
Skincare I use:
1. COSRX propolis toner
2. COSRX snail mucin essence
3. The Ordinary multi-peptide + HA serum
4. An organic oil
5. Differin
6. Beauty of Joseon sunscreen
7. Eye cream (just finished Kiehl’s avocado and The Ordinary peptides, started on PDRN pink peptide)
TIA!

35F here and at this moment in time Genabelle PDRN Recovery Balm seemed to help me most with barrier repair and plumping my tired skin!
SPF50 with at least five modern filters, vitamin C serum morning and night, and eventually a high-quality gentle retinoid are all things I wish I’d started in my early 30s. All my recs for these are non-AB so I can’t say them here (I mainly use AB for cleansers and lotions/essences, not actives), but feel free to DM!
A cream or serum that follows the golden ratio of ceramides/cholesterol/fatty acids is always a good idea. Dr. Different 311 Moisturizer and Numbuzin Protein Creamy Serum are fantastic options!
