I’m From Mugwort Essence Reformulated!!!??!!!!????

SO I just ordered a bottle of the I'm From Mugwort Essence from Olive Young and received a plastic bottle that is 150ml instead of 160ml and in a glass bottle. Here is a photo of what I recieved… (Also link to Olive Young Website)

The differences in ingredients seem to be minimal..

Old formulation: 100% Artemisia Princeps Extract

New formulation: Water, Artemisia Princeps Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol

After doing some research the Artemisia Princeps Extract is now diluted in water rather than being pure. 1,2-Hexanediol is a humectant (draws moisture to the skin) and also functions as a mild preservative to help prevent microbial growth.

As we all know, the old formula was a single-ingredient toner, made entirely of Artemisia Princeps Extract (also known as mugwort). It likely had no added preservatives, stabilizers, or diluents.

So basically the new version is more stable, gentler, and less likely to cause irritation, but it's also less concentrated in Artemisia…but that's also the reason that the OG formula was so iconic and well loved, because it was solely Artemisia.

I feel really sad. What does everyone else think? I am going to try the new formula but also try and find some backups of the old one.
