There’s an Asian department store down the street from my apartment and they usually have a few sunscreen selections.
I went in there and was thinking of getting my usual Isntree Purple Onion Sunscreen but a couple employees suggested I get this Heimish Hyaluronic Acid one instead.
Then a third employee came over to talk with me. She said the onion sunscreen (which I’ve used many times) was fragranced (it’s not) so maybe don’t get it if I have sensitive skin (which I don’t really think I do usually) but instead I should get the Heimish one since it’s fragrance free. So I ended up saying screw it and thought I’d give it a try especially for the cheap price.
Let’s just say either the lady didn’t know what she was talking about or she lied but the Heimish sunscreen is absolutely the furthest thing from fragrance free. I applied it in the morning and instantly regretted it. My noise can be sensitive to fragrance most of the time and the smell was sooooo strong. I refused to reapply any the rest of the day I legit felt like I had a headache and felt gross all day. Like the scent never fully went away. (I was out and about all day) at one point I even went to a sink to try to get some off. It also stung my eyes a little bit.
Maybe if you’re someone that likes fragrance in their skincare products you’d potentially like this cause it didn’t feel bad other then some eye stinging but I personally can’t get past the smell.
