I got a feathered haircut and usually style my hair like the shown examples with a blowdryer and vent brush.
If the ends aren't curly enough I would also use velcro rollers afterwards.
This whole process takes a lot of time (30-40 min., 20 min. when my hair was shorter) and I'd like to make it quicker with a proper round brush.
The only round brush I have doesn't grip my hair strands, they just slip away when I try to curl them.
Now don't tell me to just get a perm.
I know straight-haired people perm their hair to achieve these kinds of hairstyles but
1) I'm too broke for regularly getting perms
2) lighter perms aren't effective enough for my stubborn hair
3) stronger perms (more effective = less time for styling) are more damaging (=spending more time and money with haircare afterwards)
For hygienic reasons, I can't try out hairbrushes at the store so…
TLDR; What round brush works for curling straight (12-20cm) Asian hair while blowdrying?
