Hi all, I’ve had dark circles for a while and would like to try some targeted products for them. However, I’m having a hard time identifying what kind they are (pigmented vs vascular vs structural). I’ve shared some photos at different angles – quarter, front, facing down, facing up, pinched, and shaded). The color does fade significantly whenever I tilt my head up or if I shade the top of my head. Can someone help identify them? I plan to research based on the type I have, but product recommendations are also appreciated. Thank you!

Those are not dark circles, it’s volume loss under your eyes and it’s casting shadows that make the areas where you have volume loss appear darker, that’s why it disappears when you tilt your head.

Edited: Skincare products won’t be able to help with volume loss unfortunately.

  2. They’re not dark circles. They’re eye-bags. It’s completely genetic and will become more prominent as you age.

I think a permanent fix to this issue is under-eye/lower blepharoplasty. Otherwise, all you can do imo is a really good tightening eye cream, subtle retinol (undereye, avoid your eyelids).
