I used these two together to get a better shade match. The fact that I managed to finish both together +/- 2 uses despite them being quite different in size puzzles me, especially given the fact that these are older than some covid babies…
Fair has a nice olive undertone if it can match your skin depth, but the formula is pretty bad at setting on its own even with powder on top. Through panning this, I found the best way to get it to stay put was to put on a layer on powder **BELOW** the first layer and then to powder again once you’re done. This made the foundation actually behave normally without too much extra effort. For reference I have generally normal skin type, leaning slightly dehydrated.
I have a sample of the new formulation but haven’t gotten around to trying it yet, so can’t comment on whether that moves any less than this older type. The old formulation applies really thickly so best method is to apply with a damp sponge. I’ve tried using hands, dry sponge and the spatula to not great success…
