First of all, I hope summer passes by quickly, haha. My skin type is normal, and I currently live in New Jersey. The hot and humid summer has made my skin redness quite severe, so being Korean, I often browse this subreddit. I bought a product called Aloe Propolis Gel and have been using it for almost a month now. It works really well for calming my skin, and it seems to reduce the redness quickly. I haven't had any breakouts or sensitivity, so the ingredients seem to be good, and I don't really see any major downsides. I'm planning to repurchase it once I run out.
My current routine includes applying sunscreen before going out in the morning, and the one I'm using doesn’t leave a white cast and doesn’t look obvious on the skin. My morning routine consists of toner, Aloe Propolis Gel, and a moisturizer. I apply moisturizer to lock in the hydration from the aloe gel and provide maximum protection. I use the same routine in the evening, but sometimes I add vitamin C serum and occasionally do a sheet mask before bed.
Additionally, I saw on TikTok that some people apply these products thickly and use them like a mask, so I'm thinking of trying that out. If you have experience with this method, could you explain what works well? Thanks!

Im really waiting for fall and winter to come 😆 my face also got redness so fast these days. Thanks for sharing. No problem with your sunscreen? What sunscreen do you use?
This stuff is cool because it is also fungal acne safe! I use it in the summer as well. Definitely need a hydrating toner with it since it is a light moisturizer!
