My first ever asian beauty haul!

I’ve been in the sub for a few months now and this year started getting interested in Asian beauty, so I decided to try out some products. I was very overjoyed with my Tarte juicy lip balm purchase as I never purchase outside drugstore, so I mainly bought lip products in that same “glossy balm” category. Also my most expensive haul up to date. And thank you for all your recommendations! It helped a lot.

A question: Is the Mansly product safe to use? I know people don’t necessarily like that question always, but I would ask the same about western brands on Amazon. Mansly has no internet presence, I barely found like 3 tiktoks of peole buying their products (with like a few views) and that’s it! The only site they’re mentioned on is Alibaba, where you can buy it in bulk.

Product list+ first impressions:

**1. Nature republic Honey Melting Lip in 02- Fig/ 01- Apricot** – I watched a video by state of kait, where she tried out loads and with her recommendation bought these two. I like the fruity smell and I liked the colour 02 (i didn’t try the other yet). It was a bit darker than expected, but not too dark. The feeling on the lips is very soft and nice. It’s a bit sticky and not as thick/ pillowy as the Tarte ones though. If you put on a lot to get that feel it becomes stringy. So I would say I still like my Tarte one more, but they’re very nice and I will definitely use them a lot, just not an exact dupe.

**2. Rom& Glasting Melting Balm in 11 Buffy Coral** – The other glossy balm recommendation from this sub. I like the texture it’s nice and soft and also a bit sticky but I think a bit less than the nature republic ones. The colour is not as light and nude as it appears online imo, but it’s still a very nice colour. It’s much more of a terracotta colour and definitely doesn’t look as pale on the lips, I think the swatch photos have concealer put all over them or what not. It’s not super warm either which actually works out in my favour as those can make my teeth look yellow. Does it click/ rotate badly for anyone else though? When i start rotating it, it does like these weird clicky sounds/ feels and overall feels like pretty fragile/ cheap packaging. (Although beautiful).

**3. The saem concealer in 0.5** – Tried it once, initially pretty impressed, the coverage is great! The shade is a bit too yellow for me, but I could get away with it. Also, felt a bit dry on my dry skin, but again not massively, so could be fine and I think that’s one of the reasons why the coverage is high, beacuse it doesn’t just blend away. I’m very glad it’s light enough, because usually nothing ever is.

**4. Laneige lip mask mini** – I tried it once and I liked it. It did get a bit stringy when talking though, so either I have to put on a very light layer or use it as an actual lip mask like intended overnight and not during the day time.

**5. Pinkflash powder blush in P01** – Tried it once- it’s nice, but for me personally I would like even less shimmer for the amount of pink pigment. The cheapness of this really affected my purchase decision. It’s more warm than I expected, it looks cooler online.

**6. Torriden Solid in lip essence** – Such a nice feel and nourishing, I get why people love this. Similar to aquaphor, just a bit thinner. So far pretty impressed.

**7. Mistine Latte Velvet Juicy Lip glaze in J01** – The prettiest packaging! Definitely the reason for buying. I like the colour and consistency, it’s like a regular gloss, barely sticky at all. However it wears off really quickly and for the first minute or two has an unpleasant taste, but overall I still liked it, so I want to try more of it.

**8. Colorgram Fruity glass tint in 1004 pink gloss** – Umm, so at the time of purchasing I was not aware that it had that minty/ tingly feel to it. I’ve never tried a product with that plumping sensation before and I don’t think i like it. I was also hoping you could see the pinkness/ shimmer particles on the lips more. The one time i used it, it translated more like any other clear gloss. Might try to sell this one, depending on the next time I use it and what I think of the sensation. initially wanted a lip tint from this line but all of the colours felt too bright.

**9. Joocyee Smokey eyeshadow single in MT126 Firefly ballad** – This came broken. 😭😭 And it’s limited edition and out of stock now, so I probably won’t even get a replacement. It’s stunning though. I swatched it on my hand and wow! The base is like a grey colour and sparkles are greenish gold and together it makes this smokey looking greenish gold colour and it’s very sparkly/ reflective and just gorgeous. Very impressed, especially after buying the Flower knows palette that I feel like didn’t suit my personal needs as much.

**10. Kate personal lip cream in 08 Terracotta Brown** – Bought for my mum as she was looking for this type of colour. It has a super soft texture and very nice buildable pigment. My mum likes it. I did realise after purchasing I got ripped off though. The price of this is ~500 yen, but on Yesstyle it was 10€ 🥲. Now they’ve lowered the price to 8.70€.

**11. Cosrx acne patches** – I already used 2, one of them made my pimple pop, the other didn’t (but it was like deep under my skin i think), this is the first time I’m using pimple patches, wildly, so I honestly am just getting a hang of them.

**12. TirTir cushion trial kit** – I have not tried it yet.

**13. Torriden Dive in Low molecular hyaluronic acid serum mini** – Bought after I saw a post on here, have not tried yet.

**14. Tirtir milk skin toner** – free gift with purchase, haven’t tried yet.

**15. Mansly Panda water crystal jelly lipstick in 246** – haven’t tried. Safe?
