I have a stash of PanPorn empties I’ve been accumulating for a couple years and am just now getting to it.
I was using the Clean & Clear, Differin, and other benzoyl peroxide cleansers for a couple years and stopped because they really weren’t doing anything for me. I kept at it because of the whole “It takes time to start working” thing when it comes to acne treatments.
I heard about the Differin cleanser on this sub, about how it may be superior due to containing finer particles of benzoyl peroxide. I found it similarly ineffective as the others. But that’s the stubborn nature of my lifelong acne. I’m sure these products work very well for others.
The only OTC thing that ever worked to clear up my complexion was the topical Acne.org benzoyl peroxide gel. But I got tired of it bleaching my clothes and sheets. So I was hoping I could achieve similar results with a benzoyl peroxide cleanser, but no dice.
The Vanicream, Cetaphil, and (not pictured) CeraVe cleansers are kind of interchangeable to me, but the Cetaphil is my preferred. I find Vanicream slightly off-putting due to a somewhat slimy texture, and I wouldn’t seek it out again.
