I really like AB drugstore lip products. I did not list all of the lip products I've tried in my life, so if there's one that you are curious about, don't hesitate to ask – I may have tried it already… maybe…

    My reviews:

** Top Left Group (Abandoned – Left to Right) **
    – Rohto Lip Baby (Grapefruit)
Why: I did not like the taste of the lip balm… it smells too sweet for me. It's like putting on melted candy on my lips. It was also not moisturizing enough for me 😅 4/10.

    • Rohto Melty Cream Lip Premium (Blooming Honey)
Why: I hate the taste and smell… It's a bit more bearable than the Rich Honey though. I didn't find much difference between the Premium and normal versions of Melty Cream Lips lol. 3/10.

    • Rohto Melty Cream Lip (Rich Honey)
Why: I haaaaate the taste and smell. Too sweet for me and just taste like crap. Save me. 1/10.

    • Mentholatum Lip Fondue Scarlet Pink
Why: I actually really like the fragrance free version of this – it was my go-to lip balm for my night time routine. Very thick and moisturizing. However, this was in Scarlet Pink which is tinted. I thought I could use it during the day too but it was too thick and sticky for my lips during the day. I also prefer a lip balm with SPF for day time use. 6/10.

    • Mentholatum Tone My Lip (Bright Red)
Why: I thought this would be the same formula as the Melty Cream… but it wasn't. It's like the very downgraded version of it 😭. It's not moisturizing enough and it doesn't have SPF. BUT!! It has very sheer color to it – so I think it'll be perfect for those who want a natural colored lip balm that is lightweight on the lips. 5/10.

    • Lip the Color (Foggy Rose)
Why: funny enough, this is the heavier version of the Tone My Lip and Melty Cream. But, it's similar in the moisturizing factor as the Melty… without the SPF and with color. The color definitely shows up but not super opaque either. My biggest gripe with this is that it's too sticky and heavy for my taste… even though it's not super moisturizing 🤡. 4/10.

** Bottom Left Group (Currently Using – Lip Care – Left to Right) **
    – Mentholatum Water Lip (No Fragrance)
Why: it's lightweight, has SPF, and moisturizes well enough. It's also cheaper than the Melty Cream Lip. However, it's not my favorite because it's on the lighter side. Overall, it does its job. 7/10.

    • Rohto Melty Cream Lip (No Fragrance)
Why: girrrrrrl – this is one of my HG lip care products. Great daily lip balm. Has SPF, medium-heavy weight (depending on how many layers lol), and moisturizes well! My only gripes with this are that it leaves a weird taste to my water bottle 😭 – I only found this out recently lol – and that it doesn't last very long. Otherwise, I really like this lip balm! 8.5/10.

    • Curél Moisture Lip Care Cream
Why: okay, I recently started using this and wow. My lips love this lol – a new HG! Moisturizes super well and lasts long. Although, I still need to see how long one stick lasts, but I definitely reapply this less frequently than the Melty Lip Cream. This also doesn't leave a weird taste to my water bottle (phew). It's fragrance free! My only issues with this are that it doesn't have SPF and it's more on the expensive side for AB lip balms. Otherwise, it's amazing. 9/10.

    • DHC Lip Cream (Original)
Why: I really really like this too – super thick and lasts decently well. HOWEVER, it smells and taste weird because of the olive oil 🫠. There's also not a lot of product… so it's kind of tiny for the price. Otherwise, I think this is a great replacement for those who can't use petroleum jelly. This is a thiccc boi. The packaging is also really nice… feels lux to me hehe 🤤. 7.5~8/10.

    • [Not pictured] Rohto Melty Cream Lip (Vanilla)
Why: works the same as the fragrance free version but the vanilla smells heavenly 😋. But again, the water bottle taste 😭. 8/10.

    • [Not pictured] Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin LipAir
Why: I only use this at night. A little goes a long way. This balm actually lasted me a solid half a year probably… it's light-medium weight. Oily side. It moisturizes enough. Otherwise, nothing too special though. It's a boring one… 7/10.

** Right Group (Currently Using + Abandoned – Lip Cosmetics – Left to Right) **
    – KATE Lip Monster in 112 & 05
Why: HG STATUSSSS – my fav omg. I have so many backups in different colors 🫣. Not drying, not sticky, lasts long enough, colors are gorgeous, kiss proof 😏. The color goes on opaque enough that after blotting, you still get the same shade lmao. My only gripe is that this is on the more expensive side for AB lip products (~$12-13 USD when I got them in Japan). Otherwise, HGHGHGHG. 9/10.

    • Opera Lip Tint Oil Rouge in 11
Why: okay, this is moisturizing and the colors are gorgeous (Japan, you know your stuff). However, maybe because of the "oil", I don't recommend blotting because it takes a lot of the color off lol. Maybe I did it wrong though so don't be afraid to try it out. The packaging is beautiful. 7.5~8/10.

    • Etude House Fixing Tint (Midnight Mauve & Soft Walnut)
Why: this tint does not freaking budge. Another kiss proof lip product lmao. But… it's drying and it accentuated my lip lines 😭. With other lip products on top, this is great, but by itself… it's not something I reach for. Definitely goes on semi-matte/matte though. Also, the colors are the same pre and post blotting which is nice. 7/10.

    • Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint (Figfig)
Why: she juicy juicy. Nice color, moisturizing enough, tint lasts okay. Maybe because I've found Lip Monster, but this is a bit boring to me lol. This is a cute lip tint that is glossy though. The best thing is that they have a wide range of shades and colors. 7/10.
