Beaux Reves Blooming Azalea (from January 2024 PPU), 3 coats, magnetized with bar magnet. Probably only needed 2 coats, but some of my second coats were thicker than others so I did 3 coats just to even everything out.

Finally getting around to using this polish – it’s an interesting colour because the base is sort of a plummy reddish pink? and coupled with the green to blue shifting shimmer, it can look abit prugly in some lighting. The magnetic effect is subtle, but not so subtle that you can’t tell it’s not there.

I saw lots of complaints in the PPU FB group on the magnetic effect not working and this is definitely one of those magnetics where you have to lay it on THICK to get the magnetic effect to work. I believe there was another 2023 Beaux Reves PPU shade with this issue. Once I CAN magnetize it though, the effect held up really well, and the cat eye has barely diffused at all overnight.

You captured the different color shifts perfectly. I really enjoyed when I wore this polish. Like you said, in some lights it almost looked prugly, but mostly it was gorgeous.
