I figured I would check when they’re released on whether they are just the Ambient powder repeated and at LEAST some new shades, not that that makes the shade range any better but it felt like I’ve seen the blush one before. So I brought an update.

And yep. It’s literally 4 doubles to the Jellyfish they released in LAST Holiday collection. And two from the 2022 lightest holiday palette, Butterfly.

The other one is looking grim too, not only do they have a double shade this time in BOTH palettes that’s a highlighter they’d have enough of to not do.. this, but it also looks like only one bronzer isn’t a shade they haven’t sold in more than two collections.

Overall, within 11 shades (2x 6 pans minus one double), we have 5 shades of Jellyfish and 4 of Butterfly. In other words, you’re either pale and like the brand and literally just bought these. Or you’re not getting anything because they chose the lightest options even among their lacking range.

tldr: after my last post about the announcement of these and a (rightful) gathering of pitchforks in the comments re: their abysmal shade range, I went back when shade names became available to double check whether they actually did what I thought I was seeing; put a lot of dupes of their most recent palette in there.

They’re already kind of repetitive, but they this time didn’t even pretend it was new shades.

In other words. Even if you’re pale enough to see the difference between the shades on you at all, you already own this. My Butterfly was 20€ gently used, who is paying full price for this and DOESN’T have the Jellyfish already if they’re willing to pay for it.

I don’t get it, but I figured if anyone is still buying them, you may appreciate seeing that you already have this in your stash, eh? Their shades names sound all the same so before anyone misses it.

I only added the last release I’ve found these in to the pics. So, the shades can be in more palettes. This is just how recent they’ve last put them out.

Ethereal and Diffused Light are also both in Butterfly as well as the marked blush and highlight, so if you have that, you already own 4/6 shades of the blush palette. Not just two.
