      Also, while I’m here, if anyone has recommendations on how to use up really old eteshadow that isn’t well-pigmented, please let me know! A lot of my makeup journey over the years involved getting makeup at the dollar store or bargain bins, so I have a lot of stuff that’s just… not good. When it comes to wet formulas, I throw them out if there’s a change in consistency, smell, colour, taste… or the dreaded “why is this tingly?” feeling. But I hold on to eyeshadow, no matter how faded or cheap, because it just feels wrong to throw out something that’s “still good”. I really, REALLY want to get myself a nice shimmery neutral palette, but I’m constantly torn between “I have makeup at home!” and the feeling that the makeup at home just isn’t usable…
