*Skin Type: combination leaning dry currently cause of winter here*
*Environment: typically hot and humid, now cold and humid (yay Florida)*
1) **Kose: Clear Turn Essence mask CoQ10**
Product Type: sheet mask
Purported Effect: Collagen boosting
Texture: watery serum on sheet
Scent: light maybe faint cucumber mixed with lotion kinda
Experience: really loving these for the cost to benefit ratio. Going to be extremely hard to beat. I think I’m going to order all the rest of the varieties as well to see which is my favorite.
*Rating: 7/10*
2) **Cezanne: skin conditioner high moist**
Product Type: Skin conditioner
Purported Effect: skin prep and moisturizing
Texture: watery and slippery but doesn’t mist right if you try to put it into a spray bottle.
Scent: kind of like a watered down basic shampoo
Experience: The ingredients seem great. However it doesn’t seem to set as well into my skin, and definitely leaves a pretty bad shine even with just one layer. So I’ll keep using it for the long-term benefits, however I would prefer it smelling a little better, being mistable and be more absorbed.
*Rating: 7/10*
3) **KikuMasamune: High Moist lotion toner**
Product Type: toner
Purported Effect: hydrating and skin prepping
Texture: watery but slippery
Scent: yummy sake scent!
Experience: I need to just buy stock in this company or product at this point. Pretty sure if it was cost-effective to bathe in this, I would lol. Works perfectly in a spray bottle. I use it on my face, hair, body. It has a dewy finish.
*Rating: 10/10 ⭐HG⭐*
4) **Hada Labo: Guykyjun Premium**
Product Type: Toner
Purported Effect: hydrating
Texture: jelly like but absorbs quickly
Scent: very faintly floral maybe?
Experience: super hydrating, and plumps my skin extremely noticeably. I’m now using it twice a day and it will be one of my long-term staples.
*Rating: 10/10 ⭐HG⭐*
5) **Naturie Hatamugi: skin conditioner**
Product Type: skin conditioner
Purported Effect: skin calm and prep
Texture: watery
Scent: faint herby
Experience: I’m not certain this is doing much besides feeling pleasant. I think I will need more time with it. That said it definitely feels much better when layered. And does well as a missed when decanted into spray bottles and use between other steps of thicker formulas to help them absorb. But not sure I’d ever use it on its own.
*Rating: 6/10*
6) **Kose: Clear Turn Essence Mask: Vit C**
Product Type: sheet mask
Purported Effect: brightening
Texture: thin watery serum on sheet
Scent: very faint lemon water mixed with lotion maybe
Experience: love them. Relaxing. Affordable. Great daily ritual
*Rating: 7/10*
7) **KikuMasamune: skin care cream**
Product Type: moisturizer
Purported Effect: hydration and plumping
Texture: very thick cream
Scent: lovely sake like the toner
Experience: this is a really impressive occlusive without being core clogging. I love the scent, and the texture. And the price. A little goes a long way.
*Rating: 9/10*
8) **Nivea: Unscented SPF lip balm**
Product Type: chap stick
Purported Effect: moisturizing and sun protecting
Texture: balm
Scent: faint but sweet like
Experience: very simple but universal so will be a staple for me because it’s one of the few lip products that lack vitamin E which I have a sensitivity to with high usage.
*Rating: 8/10*
9) **KikuMasamune: Gel Cleanser**
Product Type: facial cleanser
Purported Effect: cleanse without stripping
Texture: thick gel and lotion hybrid
Scent: yummy sake
Experience: while I tend to opt for cleansing balms, and cleansing oils, this is definitely the best gel cleanser I’ve ever used.
*Rating: 8/10*
10) **Ishizawa Lab: Keana Nadeshiko rice mask**
Product Type: sheet masks
Purported Effect: whitens, smooths and moisturizes
Texture: serum on sheet mask
Scent: kinda like rice water mixed with aloe maybe
Experience: really hydrating and soothing but rather herd to find and rarely on sale. So factoring that into my rating.
*Rating: 7/10*

Thanks for the review!
I have almost everything here – love the rice mask and naturie lotion but Kiku / Cezanne doesn’t do anything for me. Kose sheet masks are cheap but also don’t do anything for me…
