*Skin Type: combination leaning dry currently cause of winter here*

1) **DearBoo: watermelon rose serum mist**
Product Type: serum or toner?
Purported Effect: moisturizing
Texture: medium mist
Scent: light and pleasant like roses and watermelon
Experience: The mister does not mist evenly. And it is not easy to get the top off to decant it into a different mister. I have not been able to successfully do that yet. It feels more like a rosewater toner to me then having any benefits of a serum. Its refreshing and that’s about it.
*Rating: 4/10*
2) **Needly: Vegan SPF with squalane**
Product Type: spf
Purported Effect: sun protection and moisturizing
Texture: lotion
Scent: none
Experience: goes on well. Doesn’t burn eyes. Doesn’t dry out skin. I am pale so didn’t notice a white cast. Unsure about putting makeup over it yet. While the quality is high, the accessibility for purchase is low so that factored into my rating
*Rating: 8/10*
3) **I’m From: Fig Cleansing Balm**
Product Type: cleanser
Purported Effect: cleansing without stripping or drying
Texture: like a crosss between jelly and a Western cleansing balm. Not sticky. Easily workable so not as thick.
Scent: lovely and light
Experience: love this! It’s my first AB cleansing balm. I’ve used a lot of Western cleansing balms, and they’re thicker, often sticky, or leave a residue. This washes off completely. I don’t need to do a second cleanse.
Experience: The mister sucks. But I may have got a damaged one. So had to decant to a different mister anyway. I like the idea of an all-in-one. But it definitely doesn’t offer the exfoliating component the way dedicated exfoliating toners do. Nor is it as moisturizing as dedicated moisturizing toners seem to be. So it’s an interesting middle that would probably be great for someone on a budget or that only wanted a handful of products total.
*Rating: 5/10*
5) **Hamel: Glow serum mist**
Product Type: serum
Purported Effect: plumping, glowing, hydrating
Texture: fine mist
Scent: light and pleasant, kind of citrusy
Experience: I like the convenience of a shake and mist serum. But for a serum I feel like it should have more lingering effects than it does. So for those with dry skin, add some other hydrating mists first so your skin doesn’t pull it in too fast. I feel like it’s more effective if it has a little bit of time on the surface before absorbing.
*Rating: 7/10*
6) **Dr Jart: Shake & Shot**
Product Type: liquid face mask
Purported Effect: hydrating
Texture: thick gel lotion
Scent: mild and pleasant
Experience: it is unfortunate these were discontinued. They’re a lil different than the sheet masks or wash off face packs and I like the variety for the slight variations in effect and application. They are more time-consuming because you have to mix them yourself. But that means the ingredients are all super freshly combined and at maximum effect as they activate upon mixing.
*Rating: 7/10*
7) **Neogen: Bio peel gauze in Wine**
Product Type: exfoliator
Purported Effect: hybrid chemical and physical exfoliation
Texture: rough on one side of the pad, smooth on the other. And saturated in liquid
Scent: amazing. Like wine
Experience: I loved the lemon so much, that I decided to try the wine. And now I’m not sure which I like best. They’re both so incredible in different ways. But I think I’m leaning towards this one slightly at the moment
*Rating: 10/10 ⭐HG⭐*
8) **Saturday Skin: Yuzu eye cream**
Product Type: eye cream
Purported Effect: around eye moisturizing and brightening
Texture: thick but slippery cream
Scent: mild to nothing
Experience: I love the texture. I was really hoping for a citrus scent and I’m a little disappointed that there was not. However it’s non irritating. And definitely hydrating. It goes on smoothly. Still waiting to determine if there’s any skin tone evening/brightening effects.
*Rating: 7/10*
9) **Skinfood: Peach Sake Toner**
Product Type: toner
Purported Effect: skin preparation
Texture: liquid. I decanted to a fine mist easily
Scent: incredible. The best smelling facial product I’ve ever tried.
Experience: Love this stuff! Oh my God. So mad that they don’t sell it in a bigger bottle. That is the only thing preventing me from making this my number one toner for sure. My skin absolutely loves it. So simple, refreshing, things layer over it perfectly and seem to set in better. But for the price and size, it just misses HG status
*Rating: 10/10*
10) **Saturday Skin: Probiotic Whip Moisturizer**
Product Type: moisturizer
Purported Effect: moisturizing and skin balancing
Texture: thick lotion at first but goes on skin thin. Hard to explain
Scent: light and pleasant
Experience: I really like this product. Even when my skin is feeling sensitive, this doesn’t irritate it. It feels almost like a barrier moisturizer in that I could trust it when having irritation even. It’s a little thick for the tube it’s in but then melts into skin like a liquid somehow. The price point and accessibility to buy it is the only thing lowering it on my desire to repurchase.

Found a couple killer sellers on Poshmark that were selling some lightly tested products that didn’t work for them so I could try for cheaply woohoo.
these mini reviews will bemostly based on 2-4 weeks of use depending on the product. My prior hauls and reviews –> [First](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/s/7pzHe1cpWW)

4) **Yadah: Vegan Cactus Toner**
Product Type: toner
Purported Effect: skin preparatory, moisturizing, pH balancing and supposedly mildly exfoliating
Texture: mist
Scent: faint and pleasant
