Makeup empties from the past few months – I found some new favourites

* **Essence black pencil eyeliner: ❌** It took years to finish. It was okay but sometimes smudged a bit on me so I don’t think I’d buy it again. It was cheap, tho.
* **Clinique Quickliner in black (deluxe sample):** ✔️ It was great as it didn’t smudge at all on me and was easy to use for tightlining. I could see myself buying a full size eventually.
* **It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC cream in the shade Light (deluxe sample):** ✔️ It was nice, although I had to mix it with the Revolution foundation to get my shade. I wouldn’t mind using it again but won’t go out of my way to buy it right now.
* **Revolution Conceal & Define foundation in the shade 0.5:** ✔️ I used it for mixing and already repurchased the white shade (shade 0). The shade 0.5 was fine but too cool toned for me. The formula of this foundation isn’t my favourite on it’s own as it creases and can look cakey but it’s fine as a mixer. It’s so hard to find light or white mixers these days so I always repurchase the Revolution ones and overall the shade range is awesome. I will say, it’s a bit pricey for Revolution as it costs about 12 euros and you only get 23 ml of product. Didn’t the brand use to be cheaper?
* **Revlon Colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin:** ❌ This used to be holy grail for so long but I’m ready to move on. I do like how well it wears on my oily skin but I’m suspecting it broke me out (or maybe my skin just changed). Anyway, they’ve since reformulated and I’ve heard it’s not as good anymore.
* **Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Athens:** ✔️ It took me years of active panning to finnish this! I do love the formula, it’s very comfortable and the shade is pretty. I used most of this as lipstick and finished it as blush which it worked nicely as. I have a backup of it and I’ll probably be an old grandma when I finish that one.
* **Colourpop Lippie Stix in After Shock (mini):** ✔️ It was a deeper mauve nude. Not my type of shade but the formula was good.
* **Essence Smoothie Gloss in Sweet Peach:** ❌ There’s a little bit left but the smell had changed so out it goes. Honestly, I didn’t like the squeezy tube and the product was too goopy and didn’t look like much.
* **Rimmel Scandaleyes Volume mascara: ❌** It wasn’t that volumizing, though. The brush was way too big and hard to use so nope to this one.
