this is my first time swatching and reviewing, happy makeup monday!
skintone – fair-light neutral leaning towards pink/cool
first Joocyee products i’ve purchased so far and they’re definitely my current favorite in terms of AB makeup (eyeshadow/powder in particular) !! they’re amazing quality and actually well pigmented especially in comparison to other asian beauty brands. the eyeshadows are a bit pricier ($10 per) but i’m currently more into singles than entire palettes where i only use like 2 of the shades.
**JOOCYEE EYESHADOW #D111** – silver with champagne glitter
**JOOCYEE DAYDREAMER EYESHADOW #D121** – iridescent blue shimmer
i cannot emphasize this enough, the shadows are beyond quality! they were all smooth to apply and it just feels so soft. the color payoff is easy to work with – i don’t find them to be too pigmented and the color is buildable. these three all have different sizes of glitter and variation and their collection of glitters are actually diverse and different from other eyeshadows i’ve seen. the rest of their selection is also sort of incredible just in terms of unique shades. i am looking forward to trying the mattes too and see if they’re just as buttery. if you’re into eyeshadows i would definitely recommend, and they have palettes too.
**JOOCYEE FOR CHRISTMAS 2023 BLUSH #M216** – figgy nude or nudey fig, can’t decide
i’m actually just obsessed with this packaging honestly.. might have to get their christmas highlighter just to complete the set. anyway, this shade is super natural and the shade is reminiscent romand’s fig chip combined with one of their nudes. feel like my swatch is kind of bad (sorry), the color payoff is much better on foundation. i really enjoy this shade since i usually use pigmented liquid blush and i use this to blend everything out. their blush formula is a bit dryer than their eyeshadow formulation but both use extremely soft/fine powder. definitely a buildable shade but more pigmented than something like romand.
**JOOCYEE GLAZED ROUGE #516** – classic brick
it’s cute! i would describe this as a glossy lip balm all grown up. it’s more pigmented and definitely more on the tier of an actual lipstick. to no surprise, the quality is great – the shade is pretty, pigment is long lasting (leaves a tint even after eating/drinking), and it’s very high shine. it’s a fun product and the packaging feels incredibly luxury (think givenchy lip balm). i personally would be conservative about adding more to my collection mostly because of preference (i prefer gloss or lip liner with gloss on top). if you’re into lip products that feel expensive, i would recommend it.
thanks for the read! let me know if there’s any other CBeauty brands you’d be interested in seeing 😇
