    1. I’m a huge fan of the original Etude Fixing Tint and I love transferproof lip products so I went and got the Fixing Tint Bar and Glow Fixing Tint to try as well!

Swatches from top to bottom on my arm:

      * Fixing Tint 01 Analog Rose: lighter neutral red, pulls orange on my lips
      * Fixing Tint 06 Soft Walnut: deep brick red
      * Fixing Tint 07 Cranberry Plum: medium red with pink tone and a bright/neon base
      * Fixing Tint 11 Rose Blending: muted cool pink with a bright/neon base
      * Fixing Tint 16 Baked Pecan: muted brick, kind of like a salmon color
      * Fixing Tint Bar 01 Lively Red: bright cool red
      * Fixing Tint Bar 05 Mauve Pink: medium rose pink
      * Glow Fixing Tint 04 Chilling Red: medium true red
      * Glow Fixing Tint 04 Chilling Red (two layers)
      * Glow Fixing Tint 08 Red Sangria: purplish berry red
      * Glow Fixing Tint 08 Red Sangria (two layers)

I have light olive skin and I wear #21 in Korean foundation. I applied from right to left (right side has more product) and blended out the left edge with my finger for the Fixing Tints (I didn’t blend out the swatches for the Fixing Tint Bar or Glow Fixing Tint).

**Etude Fixing Tint** has a soft, fluffy texture and feels lightweight on the lips. This is the first/main product in the fixing line and it has the biggest color selection (18 colors total).

      * **Finish**: Matte. It has a bit of a smoothing effect.
      * **Transfer**: Transferproof. It does transfer slightly on plastic and sometimes on glass/china but usually not to fabric/masks. To be safe, I will blot before I put on a mask until the blotting comes back clean; after that, there is no or very little transfer to masks.
      * **Longevity**: A full application can last all day (8 hours) for me depending on what I eat; when I apply in gradation I use a lot less product and it lasts around 5-6 hours on me. It lasts through eating greasy foods but obviously fades a decent amount.
      * **Scent**: It has a slight scent that reminds me of almonds. It doesn’t smell very strong on the lips and usually I don’t notice it.
      * **Color payoff**: I would say it has a medium amount of color payoff. However, it’s really versatile because you can apply a light layer and blend it out to get less color or use multiple layers/a thick layer to get the full color.
      * **Other thoughts**: 06 Soft Walnut and 16 Baked Pecan are so flattering on me. I find that 01 Analog Rose has a thinner formula and I need two layers to get the same color payoff.

**Etude Fixing Tint Bar** is a lipstick with a matte finish. All of them are the same packaging with stickers on the top so you know what shade it is. It’s a bit hard to open because there’s only a small area for you to grip.

      * **Finish**: Matte with a slight sheen. It settles in the fine lines of my lips and emphasizes lip texture. The official comparison says it’s the most matte but that wasn’t my experience with it.
      * **Transfer**: Transferproof to minimal transfer.
      * **Longevity**: I’ve only tested this a couple of times but I would say it lasts for 5-6 hours for me.
      * **Scent**: Very slight scent when applying; it smells waxy.
      * **Color payoff**: On the sheer side of medium color payoff. It’s not as pigmented as the Fixing Tint but not all the way sheer. It can be built up with more layers, but it’s harder to blend out. The way it applies reminds me of charcoal brushes in digital art programs. I didn’t swatch two layers because I didn’t feel like the difference was that obvious (and I also didn’t have enough room on my arm) but you can see where the product was doubled up in the swatch because I applied in a zigzag pattern.
      * **Other thoughts**: I really wanted to like this one because I love how it looks when it’s swatched on skin—the color diffuses really pretty and it looks so soft. However, it just doesn’t look the same on my lips. I tried to use it as a blush once and it set too fast for me to work with.

**Etude Glow Fixing Tint** is a sheer lip tint with a shiny finish. The packaging is glossy plastic and it has a doe foot applicator.

      * **Finish**: Sort of glossy, but mostly satin; it doesn’t particularly emphasize or hide lip texture. If you blot, the gloss (obviously) disappears but the color remains. It’s not nearly as shiny as the swatches imply.
      * **Transfer**: The color is transferproof, but the gloss disappears and you will be left with a satin finish.
      * **Longevity**: The gloss only lasts for 30 minutes or less before it fades and becomes more of a satin finish. I’ve only tested this a couple of times but I would say the color lasts around 5 hours.
      * **Scent**: No noticeable scent, but it has a bitter taste for about 5-10 minutes even if you are avoiding it.
      * **Color payoff**: Sheer, but you can build it up. For maximum effect, let the previous layer completely dry before you apply the next layer. In my swatches, I only waited around thirty seconds between application so the two-layer swatches aren’t that much more pigmented, and I wish I had waited longer so the difference would be more apparent.
      * **Other thoughts**: Because of how transferproof it is, this feels like a lip stain. I love how both of the colors look on me and I’m definitely going to buy more of these. One of the tints (04 Chilling Red) is harder to use because the applicator seems to be too big for the tube. The other one is fine so I believe it’s a production mistake.
