First Blooming Koco haul + mini reviews

Decided to order from Blooming Koco in mid December. Omg the prices and shipping speed absolutely blew me away. these mini reviews will be based on 2-4 weeks of use depending on the product. *Skin Type: combination leaning dry currently cause of winter here*

*Environment: typically hot and humid, now cold and humid (yay Florida)*

1) **ROUND LAB: Dokdo toner**

Product Type: toner

Purported Effect: prep skin

Texture: watery (I decanted to spray)

Scent: spring water

Experience: very simple. Will probably be my daily staple when I’m not using chemical exfoliating toners.

2) **MIZON: First Essence**

Product Type: essence

Purported Effect: helps follow up ingredients, as well as fermented benefits

Texture: watery. I decanted to spray

Scent: mild, kind of reminds me of sprite

Experience: this is my first first essence. I don’t have much to compare it to. That said it is incredibly mild and seems to be having a great entourage effect with my other stuff But I’m not sure I notice anything really on its own.

3) **ETUDE: Soonjung pH 6.5 whip cleanser**

Product Type: cleanser

Purported Effect: cleansing

Texture: foam

Scent: mild

Experience: really nice thick foam. Easy cleaning. Not drying. Will definitely be my summer go to when the heat and humidity come back and I’m sweating a lot. For winter I prefer balms still so gotta give this a better test in a few months since it didn’t have the added hydration I prefer for winter.

4) **NEOGEN: Revitalizing Bio Cleanser. Cranberry**

Product Type: cleanser

Purported Effect: cleansing

Texture: foam

Scent: real cranberry which is very nice

Experience: this would be better as a summer cleanser in hot and humid areas or for those with more oily skin. It was a little drying and tightening to me.

5) **HARUHARU WONDER: Black bamboo mist**

Product Type: toner?

Purported Effect: moisturizing and energizing

Texture: mist

Scent: medium Herb scent

Experience: I really like this. My skin seems to enjoy fermented products. So this is my step between serums for maximum absorption. I also really love that the mist is very fine and uniform.

6) **PYUNKANG YUL: essence toner**

Product Type: toner

Purported Effect: hydrating and skin prepping

Texture: serum viscosity

Scent: mild

Experience: personally I prefer my toners to be misted on. And this is too thick for that. However the couple of days I felt like my skin barrier was compromised. I immediately reached for this and it soothed the problem so I will definitely keep it on hand. For those that have sensitive skin, this could be a real lifesaver

7) **BENTON: snail bee ultimate seeum**

Product Type: Serum

Purported Effect: skin tightening

Texture: viscous serum. Similar to bean essence

Scent: mild

Experience: It does give me a little bit of tingles for a few seconds. But for me the effect is worth it. And I don’t have sensitive skin. I’m not sure about long-term benefits yet, but so far I’m impressed.

8) **BEAUTY OF JOSEON: relief rice sun**

Product Type: spf

Purported Effect: sun protection

Texture: light lotion

Scent: kinda like pasta water. Light. Pleasant

Experience: omg I got it in my eyes and it did not burn at all. This far surpasses all of the Western products I have tried in the past. It goes on smooth, I am pale and it did not give me a white cast, dries down pretty quickly. No irritation. Seems to have good sun protection. Will stock up for sure

9) **PETITFEE: resurrection plant mask**

Product Type: sheet mask

Purported Effect: soothing

Texture: gel serum on paper mask

Scent: aloe like

Experience: I got this cuz it was on sale so I had no expectations lol. I actually really like it. The gel type serum last longer so just prep for more time wearing the mask. It feels more hydrating, I definitely get the soothing feeling. And I like that it has a bunch of other nice ingredients. I thought it was just predominantly this one plant. However it has a lot of other beneficial components. Definitely understated.

10) **DR JART: ceramidin lipair**

Product Type: lip balm

Purported Effect: soften and moisturize lips

Texture: light lotion but slick feel

Scent: none really

Experience: I have extremely sensitive lips. And almost always just get stuck with Vaseline. However this is non irritating. Very soothing feeling. Seems moisturizing. I’ll definitely be reordering.
