    1. Hi guys. I might have ghosted the sub for a few months but it’s Sunday and I am bored so I feel like writing a bundle-review of the recent luxury products I discovered.

      # About my skin:

30F, Central Europe, winter at the moment. Acne prone, combination (oily T zone but can be dry everywhere else) but mostly under control due to tretinoin. Some PIE/PIH but my skin is doing pretty well right now. So I’m mostly focused on maintaining what I have and having soft and plump skin and making sure the occasional pimple doesn’t leave a mark for too long.

      # FYI – Current routine:

(AM): Make Prem Safe me Foam Cleanser (KR); SK-II Clear Lotion (JP); Suqqu Aqufons Enriched Lotion (JP); Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream (US); Decorte Liposome Serum (JP); ETVOS Acne VC Gel Cream (JP); Kanebo Global Skin Protector SPF (JP)

(PM): Same but with MILK makeup remover (US), no SPF, and tretinoin 0.025% instead of moisturiser. Also Decorte Lip Emulsion (JP).

Twice a week: Amore Pacific Enzyme Peel Cleansing Powder (KR); Caudalie Vinoperfect Peel Mask (FR), followed by URANG blue oil (KR)

      # Product reviews (from left to right):

      **Decorte Softening Lip Emulsion (JP):**

From the official website: “A multi-tasking lip treatment infused with collagen tripeptide, hyaluronic acid and other nourishing ingredients to moisturize, soften, restore and comfort lips while creating an instant, plumping effect that minimizes vertical lines and dryness.”

It sort of feel like a fresh gloss but it sinks in around 30 min. I apply at night to prep my lips for the next day and it makes them super soft. Not sure about the plumping effect tbh. I do love it as a less messy alternative to lip masks because it has an applicator, and as someone who despises lip balms this is a great product-type for me.

Might repurchase but I’m also curious about the Clé de Peau lip serum so I might go for that instead. Only issue is that CdP is much more expensive while the Decorte is okay-ish depending on where you buy it. I wish the product was bigger though because as you can see on the picture it is TINNY. Apparently it can also be used as a base for lip makeup products. If you do that i would wait a bit before applying but I can see how that would help for a smoother application!

**Kanebo Global Skin Protector SPF 50+ PA++++ (JP):**

I love love love love this! It’s pricey but so cosmetically elegant! It has a gel cream texture and works like a charm as a makeup primer. It is fragranced but not in your typical sunscreen scent type of way. It smells rather clean, floral and fresh. Also water resistant. In winter I don’t bother reapplying and only apply once in the morning, since I’m staying inside anyway.

I also want to add that it is pretty moisturising, to the point that I sometimes skip my light moisturiser and use only this instead. It makes my skin dewy so I powder my T zone and I typically don’t apply foundation to go to work.

I had no issue with breakout, which sometimes happen with some sunscreen for me. No white cast at all.

      Would definitely repurchase!!

UV filters: zinc oxide; Uvinul MC80; Tinosorb S; Uvinul T 150

**ETVOS Acne VC Gel Cream (JP):**

From Ichibanm website: “A moisturizing gel that simultaneously cares for acne and whitening. Ceramide also takes care of the dryness peculiar to adult acne skin. Prevents adult acne with active ingredients. Contains moisturizing ingredients that protect the skin of adults who tend to fluctuate. The hypoallergenic prescription is OK for sensitive skin that tends to tilt to acne and rough skin.”

Pretty nice lightweight gel cream I bought where I had more acne a few months ago. I think it’s too light for me but would work well for oily skin. Not sure about its effect on acne since tretinoin takes care of it for me.

Despite the vitamin C, I didn’t find it irritating at all, which can sometimes happen for me.

Honestly I don’t have much to say about it. It’s a nice product but I don’t think it suits my current needs so I will not repurchase. But if you have oil skin and mild acne it might be a good one to try.

      **Suqqu Aqufons Enriched Lotion (JP):**

Suqqu is a high end japanese makeup brand that is renowned for their eyeshadows, but they also have skincare lines and I really wanted to give it a go.

Aqufons is their mid range line that targets lack of hydration and is meant to enhance radiance of the skin.

Not only does it come in a pump, which makes it easy and clean to use, it also comes in two different types: regular and enriched.

I got the enriched one because I was looking for a hydration beast.

This lotion is a clear, slightly viscous liquid that sinks in pretty easily after a couple minutes. As per japanese lotions go, they advise using cotton but I feel like it’s a waste of products so I apply half a pump with my hands, as one pump is waaay too much product.

It makes my skin plum and bouncy and gives me an amazing glow.

It’s a nice alternative to HA based toners/lotions as it doesn’t contain any and is rather built around polysaccharides that stimulate the production of HA in the skin.

Will probably repurchase after I tried a few other things lol I just love lotions so much I keep wanting to explore. But it is a very solid one which is why I’m tempted to just keep using it instead of getting something else.

**URANG Brightening Blue Oil Serum (KR):**

I love oils and wish there were more high end option in KR/JP skincare. I go this one which I remember being super popular many years ago (I’ve been into this for too long…) but I had never tried it.

I defo a light weight oil that sinks in beautifully. I love using it after my exfoliators to give myself a little spa experience. I should probably use it more but I’m lazy these days so I keep forgetting. But at the same time my skin is doing fine as it is so it might not be needed.

Anyway, cannot comment on the brightening properties as, again, I’m using tret so it does the heavy work. But I can definitely say that it makes my skin soft and moisturised and doesn’t irritate me despite being fragranced.

The main oil is green tea seed (Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil) and I find that it’s an oil that works pretty well for me as it doesn’t cause breakouts (for info, I personally cannot use macadamia oil or shea). It also contains chamomile oil which is why it says it’s calming and brightening.

It’s light and the pretty blue color makes it fun to use with a gorgeous packaging. Which yall might not care about but since skincare is a hobby of mine I like to make it luxurious and pleasurable.

However I probably won’t repurchase solely because I want to try something else, whether from KR/JP or Western. The only issue as I said is the fact that I have restrictions regarding some oils and I want a luxury product so it restricts my choices a little.
