I got my nails done just over a week ago. At first it did look like the tech did bad cuticle work but I just ignored it because I can be too picky. Now it looks like they are starting to lift? Im unsure myself so I wanted other opinions of this work. They also gave me a gel pedicure that got all over my cuticles and is chipping already. Is that a reason to request a refund?

The gel flooded to the cuticles. Don’t go back to this nail tech again. It’s dangerous to you.

The quality and cuticle prep looks good actually. But yes 100% cuticle flooding which is not good. With gel this will eventually give you an allergy. Definitely grounds to request a refund and never return there.

Yeah you can see where the gel was attached to your flesh and not your nail round the cuticle.

If this is the quality of work coming from this salon I’d be surprised if they gave you a refund but you do deserve it!

If you don’t mind the question how much did you pay for these and how long did it take the tech to complete it ?

Low cost means they need more people in the door to make ends met, which means your me time gets rushed and you get a sore, grown out, only last 1-2 week set of nails.

Also depending on where your living some of these fast salons are human trafficking
