I have been seeing soap bubble designs from the gel nail artists for a while and I was curious if I could achieve it with regular nail polish. I mixed up some soap bubbles in a cup, applied a layer of topcoat on a plastic bag and then a layer of color over that. Before the color could dry, I spooned the bubbles over and let it sit until it was dry.
I applied a teal jelly on my nails and then peeled off my soapy nail decals and stuck them on.
These needed a least 2 layers of top coat. I probably should have gone with a glitter grabber instead.
In the end, I’m not sure how I feel about this look. It’s giving sea coral. It’s giving bubbles. It’s giving trypophobia.
What do you think?

Okay, so apologies in advance if you don’t want them to look like this, but… I immediately saw Dino eggs and thought that they were cool af!
It’s really cool and pretty, for sure giving ocean coral, and yes definitely trypophobia as well!
That looks so cool! I don’t see any aspect of failure. Spectacular work.
I think these look dope as helllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!! So cool that you figured this out with lacquer alone. Must go try, brb.
