There’s a first empty of the year! I knew it was going to be Honeysuckle, but I underestimated how much product was left in the pan and thought I would have an empty last month. I used it up on the 23rd of April, for a total of 50 uses this year and 230 total uses tracked. I used it up by wearing it as a one-and-done.
I also very unexpectedly hit pan on Pimpernel on the 27th of April, on the 38th use this year, which is the 48th use in total. I didn’t expect it, but it is so welcome, as this will make the progress much more satisfying, and now all the eyeshadows have pan on them! I’ll make this my focus eyeshadow for the next few months to see consistent progress.
**Goals for April:**
* use up Honeysuckle – After seeing how little there was left of it, I decided not to drag it out and finish it. It was a great shimmery eyeshadow with a wonderful peach-to-pink shift. I might consider getting something similar sometimes in the future, but for now, I’ll focus on using and loving what I have. This was an original Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow, and like all the CT glittery shimmers, my biggest gripe with it was too much fallout.
* layer Pimpernel over cream blush – This was an experiment to see if I can use both Pimpernel and the cream blush I currently have at the same time to double my panning potential, so to speak. I’m not the biggest fan of the sunburnt look this created. However, this combination looked much nicer when applied this way: cream blush, powder, Pimpernel. I’ll very likely try this again, later in the year, as I’m currently focusing on a powder blush that looks almost exactly like Pimpernel, so until that is used up, it makes no sense to use Pimpernel like a blush or for a blush combination.
**Uses this month and total uses this year in brackets:**
