1. Soak half a cotton round in acetone
  2. Clip it in place with a soak off clip
  3. Wait a couple minutes
  4. Twist the cotton round off and watch all the newly liquified gunk slide right off
  5. Feel the extremely pleased with yourself

This gal and her tall pink hat for May day.

Do we think it’s a fashion do or a fashion don’t?

I do this but my issue with some wonky bottles is polish in the top part with the brush.

Im too nervous about getting acetone in the bottle, so i soak the pad in nail polish thinner instead. I’ll definitely use a clip next time!

This is a good idea! I want to try this method.  I usually snip a hole in the middle of an acetone soaked cotton round and slip the brush through the hole, then I twist the bottle shut, wait a minute and then untwist it. It cleans the cap and the threads at the same time! I might try your method with the cotton round and see if I can close the bottle that way.
