I will take any advice please. I feel like i’ve run out of options to try with isolated chrome, nothing seems to work.

What i did here:

– “gaoy matte top coat” cured 2 minutes

– buffed (bc without buffing it still sticks to the matte base)

-mixed “fzanest base/color/top gel in one” white gel with kupa top coat (bc just using the color gel it’s all glittery)

– cured for 20 seconds (i’ve tried 30s, 45s n 60s, all of those work on separate occasions, 20s was the newest test)

– wiped on a little bit of chrome powder, wiped with sponge n dusted away excess (chrome powder clearly stuck to the matte coat)

– base coat

– top coat

i’ve tried wiping the matte top coat with 70% isopropyl alcohol n it sticks to the base even more after i do that. but i feel like i shouldn’t have to do that because people swear by gaoy matte top coat.

could it be my uv light is faulty? ive had it for maybe 2 years now. its the sunuv one on amazon

any advice on doing full nail chrome is welcome too since i haven’t been able to figure out that either, ive never been able to get my chrome shiny, its always been glittery as well as it not fully sticking

the chrome star on my nails that im wearing i used the exact same method (base polish was black instead of white tho) n i did my nails yesterday! and they turned out completely fine. idk why using the same method multiple times shows different results.

I’m very much betting on your lamp not being strong enough to properly cure your gels. Sunuv specifically can be really inconsistent faulty
