Is it from not putting enough top coat on these spots? See more pics in the comments. I tried to apply top coat all the way to the edge of my nail, even past my nail onto the skin but I still get these spots.
And I tried to float the top coat but still have streaks 😭 I even used matte top coat under the polish like I’ve seen suggested here! help me 🙏

Are your nail beds curved? If so, this happens to me all the time when I do a glass bead because of the natural curve of my nail not allowing the magnet to “touch” the sides like it does with the middle part of the nail.
I don’t think there is a solution, unfortunately.
I JUST got this polish too and my nails look like this too. I think it doesnt magentize well on some parts and it almost looks like theres no polish there cuz its like almost skin colored idk XD
maybe try one thin coat overtop an opaque color that’s complementary? my bottle should arrive tomorrow i’ve been waaaaaaaiting
I have this problem too and what was suggested to me (and it worked) was to apply a thicker coat of polish so the particles have more freedom to move, especially on the second coat. If the polish is too thin, then it will not allow the particles as much wiggle room and it dries faster, making it that much harder to magnetize on the sides.
This polish is one of the most finicky formulas I have! I have found you have to kinda break the magnetic rules with this one. I use a base color that’s a crème (dark purple) then only do one coat of magnetized Haunted. Thick layer and quickly start to magnetize and for longer than usual!
I swear that Haunted by Moonlight is the final boss of magnetics. It is advanced level magnetic polishing. I have it and I’ve never had it end up looking okay. My brain hurts after each attempt.
“Haunted by Moonlight” is appropriate because this polish haunts (and taunts) me every time I use it, lol.
Happens to me with ilnp sugar plum, so frustrating! I assumed im missing spots with the polish and need to thin my polish a bit more and do thicker coats? Or my nails curving since i have a veeeery deep c curve.
I think it’s from magnetizing dry polish (like a spot you missed with the 2nd coat or topcoat)
