My mother would have considered this as part of the “whore red” category of color I was forbidden to wear as a teen. Super happy to be embracing it now and the peace that is adulthood away from a controlling household. This formula was lovely and the perfect glowy sheer that is buildable. I really love Ethereal’s polish. I tried to show it in different lighting.

Ooo I had a color like that as an adult and it definitely didn’t look good on my pale skin but I managed it on my piggies for summer.
In HS I wore black or dark glittery blue (wasn’t easy to find punky alternative nail colors in the 80s). My mom always said it looked like I slammed my fingers in the door so I asked if she would rather I wore bright Hooker Red instead…and she said Yes. 🫤
Didn’t expect that but probably why she said it.
