Base: Mooncat – Getting Even Nail Primer

Polish: BKL – Sing Praise to the Song Bird (x2, magnetized with the 5D magnetic spinner)

Decals: DRK Magic Effect, CJS white stamping polish, 2Joy stamping plate, a nameless orange aurora chrome powder from AliExpress, and DRK Seal Glaze

Top Coat: Mooncat – Speed Demon

This is probably the definition of “doing too much” lol, it’s a glass bead, plus stamping, plus chrome powder, plus technically three separate top coats. Originally, the aurora chrome was going to be isolated to the white stamping polish, but the powder stuck to the Magic Effect where it hadn’t stuck to the uncoated polish in test swatches, so all the nails got the chrome treatment. Can’t say I’m not happy about how it turned out though!

I wanted to do a bird theme, since the name of the polish is “Sing Praise to the Song Bird”, so I went with two snuggling swans on my left thumb, and a downy feather on each ring finger. This was my first time stamping since high school, and I think I did okay! CJS’s stamping polishes need to be thinned quite a lot before use though, so I wouldn’t recommend them unless you already have thinner on hand.

If any one needs links to the plate or powder, let me know and I’ll try to track down the link!
