In case someone wonders about the products used, I had a whole post about this mani earlier when I painted it. Anyhow the star of the show, apart from the broken nail 😭, is By the moonlight from Haunted.

Aww, I remember seeing your mani. It’s still so cute! And you’re holding up far better than I am. What you said was true. Both my hands have short pointer nails, one intentionally so I can use it for practical things and the other broke off bc I was dancing too hard! Same hand where I chopped off the pointer nail, I broke the middle at work. This all just happened recently and they’re growing pretty fast still. I’m sure yours will too!
And the short nails can be cute! They grow to a point where they look like little cabochon gems esp with magnetic nail polish which you clearly got down pat. Praying to a swift recovery fam!!

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! It hurts just looking at the picture. ☹️ Both my middle finger nails broke (painlessly, luckily) so I put some fake nails on until they grow out a little.
