I just tried vertical velvet (the setup with a horseshoe with a bar magnet on top, as can be seen in the background) for the first time. It turned out great on the first three fingers, then suddenly on my index finger and thumb, it looked different. On the video, the difference doesn't seem -that- big, but irl it definitely is.
Then I did my other hand (not in video), and it just didn't work for me anymore at all; I hardly saw any effect, and it just looked really dark. Ended up redoing that hand in regular velvet and forgot to film it first. 😅
Anyway, has anyone have this happen too, and/or have any tips to make them consistent?

Were you shaking up your bottle of polish occasionally? Sometimes pigment settles as it sits there
