I received my new shimmer hollow 3D glass spinner yesterday, and I'm waiting for my BKL order today.

I decided to test this out with a fancy glass copper magnetic top coat over a gray / lavender franken polish that I made. (Failed spirit finger dupe)

The 3D spinner comes with different sizes, and I chose number one for the fingers and number one for the thumb. I used the long end for my fingers and the short end for my thumb. (There is labeling inside the housing that holds the little piece that you sit your finger in…"On the floor of the podium," per the instructions…One side says long and the other side says short). I just played around with the little pieces before I got started painting.

The instructions are wonderful! And it even came with a sand timer that reminds me of the wizard of Oz! 😄

The absolute best thing that I like about this is the ball bearing. I didn't take it apart an examine it and I'm not going to. But I like the fact that once I spin it, it continues to spend for about 10 to 12 seconds. I can sip on my coffee!

And another wonderful thing are these two lines that you use to line up the center of your nail! I think all these things are game changers!

I love how the 3D glass bead spinners have evolved over the past year!

As for the fancy gloss copper magnetic topcoat, I think it's pretty cool. Now it would probably look a little bit better with a contrasting color underneath, or using a cat eye magnetic technique. I just wanted to experiment with one of my fancy gloss magnetic toppers, because I ordered some of the fine particle magnetic toppers from them yesterday.

Underneath the franken polish is "hit the bottle – keepin it peel."

Now I'm just patiently sitting here waiting for my BKL! I'll put on a Sally Hansen top coat here in about 30 minutes just to keep from dinging things up. But I'm not going to magnetize it because this is getting peeled off soon!

I got mine a few days ago and the ball bearings make all the difference! It makes it so easy, I wish this was the first one I’d bought.
It’s funny that I never thought about getting a 2 min sand timer. I’ve been using my phone – not anymore!
