I felt like a lot of their colors were way off but this one was so much darker/more vivid than what I got. I know polish companies are notorious for editing photos but this one wins for disappointment 😭

This goes way beyond “studio lighting” like certain brands claim. This is just false advertising. I’d reach out for a refund bc this is ridiculous.

Violet pigments are notorious for breaking down and fading away. I’d bet this polish started out pretty accurately matched to the color in the first picture, but it sat on a shelf for too long and faded to the muddy grey you have in your bottle. I’d contact customer service about it, seems like they need to up their storage game and check their bottles before mailing out!

I had this issue with The Countess as well. It was more of a muted barney purple instead of a vivid royal purple.

I don’t think they’re purposely doing this, but I think they need to get more swatch photos from different sources to get the colors accurate.

I got bonfire from them and shimmer toppers and those looked fine. It was my purple I had an issue with.

This looks like your polish is “defective” I’d reach out to the brand. Purple pigment is notorious for fading, maybe it’s what happened here.

I’d be very annoyed by this! I have beef with Abomination. TAT is never met, and they raised their prices to Mooncat levels. Nahhhhh……
