I had so much fun doing these and I think they weren't as difficult as they look!

First, liquid latex barrier then base coat.

I did a regular sponged gradient first; πŸ€πŸ’œπŸ€

Fixed it with quick dry too coat

Taped off half my nail with simple painter's masking tape

Did a gradient the opposite way vs before; πŸ’œπŸ€πŸ’œ

    Got the masking tape off

Fixed up my lines here and there with the help of a liner brush and very thinned down polish.

    Lastly: Quick dry too coat

    Essie smooth e base coat

kbshimmer White here white now (one coater)

    hemanederland Purpalicius

    Sally Hansen red bottle QDTC

    kbshimmer polish thinner

liquid latex, makeup sponge, tape, liner brush.

    1. Woah, these are insanely cool! Forgive a dumb question but how or when are you using the tape mid-mani so it doesn’t smear your progress?

I use stencils for my French tips and if I don’t wait at least a solid 3 hrs after my base color I get imprints regardless of how lightly I apply the stencils or thin I apply the coats. Depending on my schedule sometimes it takes 2 days to finish a mani before I can top coat and thats…just…so annoying. Lol

Anyway I love the color combo here too, everything about this is stellar. Amazing technique!!
