I love to paint my nails black, but they are always chipped by the 2nd day :(. Every nail polish I've tried (i usually use Essence and Catrice) have chipped so quickly so far. Where I live there is not a wide range of options and im thinking of buying either the Black OPI (gel like or polish) or the Sally Hansen (gel miracle) black …+ a good top coat (open to recomendations). What brand have you had better luck with?
I'd like to have my nails for around 5 days with noth a huge amount of chipping.

Opi used to be mu favorite for minimizing chipping but recently I’ve been moving on to indie brands and they last way longer such a ILNP and Clionadh. I also really like Essie gel couture, their top coat in the white bottle is great too.
what base coat are you using? i get a lot of mileage out of sally hansen insta dri black, personally, but i want to try essie gel couture black because that line is usually good for me
