I love purples, and Deadly Nightshade was tempting, but I have concluded that I have this at home. Attempt #4 is the closest.

Deadly Nightshade attempts:

(AC) Abomination Cosmetics – The Countess

(SH) Sally Hansen instadri – Vivid Voltage

(HT) Holo Taco – Phantoms Call

(LB) LynB Designs – This Is Some Boo Sheet*

(FG) Fancy Gloss – Grape Jelly

Pahlish – Salvador Dali

*Beaux Reves The Little Prince is 99.9% an exact dupe. It is a hair darker, I have both, but didn't use it. Totally works as a substitute if you don't have Boo Sheet.

  1. AC, SHx2, + HTx1

  2. ACx2, + HTx2

  3. ACx2, + LBx1

  4. AC, SHx2, + LBx1

  5. AC, SHx2, + Pahlish x1

Black Widow:

Holo Taco – One Coat Black

Lyn B's silver magnetic topper "It's an Ice Day"* x1

Fancy Gloss – Thick As Blood, 1x (generous float) ~

*Starilly Amulet, HT Silver Magnetic Taco LE, Cracked Polish Thin Ice, lots of dupes for that one

~ Thick As Blood takes about 4 coats to get to the full oxblood jelly look, so if you have another oxblood or maroon jelly, start with thinner coats

Werewolf's Bane:

Holo Taco Indigo Away x2

Mooncat House of Hades x1

Holo Taco Linear Holo Taco x1

A purple with a cobalt blue shimmer would work best, but most of my purples with "blue" shimmers shift to turquoise/teal/green. The purple Sally Hansen would've made a better base, but I didn't make another dupe attempt because I didn't like holo anyways.

Manchineel Tree (attempt – emphasis on attempt):

Cracked Ooze x2

Cracked Pushin' Pop

– outer half a DIY yellow jelly

I just wanted to see if Pushin' Pop would lighten the green base up, but another topper in this vein would work better.

For the mods: on my actual nails I have Fancy Gloss Salvia, ILNP Canvas, and Familiar Polish Sage Jelly

First half of pics are indirect daylight, second half are warm room lights at night.

On the nightshade attempts, The Countess was a base on all to preserve Vivid Voltage bc I like the color better but it’s sheer
