The press-on nails look like they’re about to pop off, even though they’re stuck firmly on my nails. Is there a way to make them fit better?
Edit: Just as an fyi, I didn’t make these myself! They were bought elsewhere, and I wanted to see if there’s anything I can do myself to make it better, as they were quite expensive 🙁

Probably finding the correct sizes for starters.
I’m new to press ons but for what it’s worth I think you might need a smaller sizes.
Did you purchase these from a store or did you get these custom-made? It looks like they’re bulky to begin with.
They’re too big! The sidewall shouldn’t hang beyond your nails.
Those are just waaaay too big for your nail bed. They’ll be popping off in no time. They’re practically on your cuticles too.
They’re the wrong sizes so they look really bad try a size smaller even if they may seem too small

They are too big. They should tuck in to your nail and be flush. I don’t think the bulk/thickness would look as bad if they fit correctly. I use store bought nails and even on advertisements I see the nails are too big.
Everyone has told you they’re too big already, so I’ll tell you that if you want to make them fit better you can cut the cuticle side at angles on both sides, and file the nails down to match your nail bed. That’ll be fine for the ones without the chrome around the border, unfortunately if you wanna try that on them you’ll probably lose a bit of that.

They’re just too wide. Did you size them with a fabric tape measurement? That usually helps with sizing.
