I watched this video and I am seriously wondering if everyone else is delulu or if I am. This girl isn’t petite. At all. She’s short and overweight. And I’m not judging her, honestly I could loose some pounds myself, but to be this firm in your believe that you are petite/curvy is.. odd. Or am I insane here? Also, she’s offended she fits a M/L but that’s really not weird.

Petite in clothing has to do with height and needing a shorter inseam in pants. You can be petite sizing and over a size XS or Small.
Petite covers height only so she is petite. She also is overweight. Both can be true.

She’s 5′. She’s petite. Petite isn’t the opposite of plus size, it’s the opposite of tall.
This is a really rude post, coming from someone who doesn’t care for Monica. Petite, per Google itself, refers to someone who is under 5’4. She is well under that goal, and she is curvy. She absolutely falls under the normal definitions.
Just not yours.

Being petite is a height/leg length thing. I am 5’2 but I have a 32 inseam so I personally do not consider myself petite. You can be a M/L/XL+ and be petite if you are short and need a shorter inseam in pants.
A person can be petite and curvy at the same time. Petite doesn’t mean rail thin; it usually just means you’re under 5’3”-5’4”. Calling her “short and overweight” does sound like you’re judging her.

I don’t think she’s offended that she’s an M/L. She was just commenting that maybe the sizing was a bit off and may not cater to larger body sizes (if I understood her sentiment correctly).
But like others have said, petite in its proper use in clothing, refers to height. For example I’m an inch or two taller than her but I’m smaller. However, both of us would be considered petite because of our height, regardless of how different our general clothes sizes are
