I’m an atheist and I think she’s saying that religion shouldn’t be mixed with politics. Unfortunately we know that it’s always used as a weapon so this is kinda tone deaf
Sure would be nice for her to come out with a little bit stronger statement of love for immigrants right about now. I hope she gets there.
Jesus said we should love our neighbor, just as we love ourselves. He never said we shouldn’t hold pedophiles accountable for their actions.
She forgets when Jesus went to the temple and hulked out because the temple was using religion to turn a profit or the fact that Jesus preached not to harm little children (Epstein files anyone) but uses “Jesus” to handwave the choices family or herself makes politically?
