  1. Don’t line the lower lash line, especially in black. You will need more contrast but when using darker ones keep it smudgey & less defined. Try the technique you’re interestedin, but with warmer shades closer to your skin tone.

I’m gonna be cancelled, but I think Indian/middle eastern/latina style makeup suits south Asians more than any East Asian makeup. Our features are different, and that style isn’t as complimentary…

  3. Try a dark brown eyeliner instead of black.
Don’t line your lower waterline with eyeliner. Instead use eyeshadow (use the shade that you use to define your outer corner, so the darkest shade that you’re using) to line the lower outer corner lash line. You can also lightly blend it into your lash line too if your prefer. Then use a shimmery shade to accentuate the inner to middle lower eye area. You can add a a slightly darker shade if you want the under eye aegyo sal but since you have larger eyes, just be careful not to make it too dramatic.
    Experiment with pinker lip shades

  4. not a mua but suggesting to skip the kajal, accentuate your lashes by lash lifting or good fake lashes, put more concealer + powder on the undereyes!

  5. Skip the tight line at the bottom, instead draw an aegyosal (if that works for you), blush placement higher up and straight across (maybe even on the nose). Highlight tip of nose. Conceal and then gradient, glossier lips instead of hard matte lips. Usually these looks come with lighter eyeshadow and pinky tones. I’m not brown myself but I read that using purple on brown skin will make it look pink! But I must say your current makeup is gorgeous on you too!
