Hello hello. I finally had the motivation to sit down and write about the products I’ve used up in the past 3(?) ish years since I last posted. Definitely a sobering thought considering how much makeup I still have to go through. Anyway onto the reviews.
1. lancome mascara primer: got it for free, used it but didn’t see a need for it WNRP
2. prep rally drybar: same as above WNRP
3. stila glisten and glow in twig: I love this. It’s a perfect 1 and done and looks like you’re wearing multiple shades. Lasts a really long time too. Currently on my second one of these. RP
4. milk kush mascara: it was fine nothing to write home about WNRP
5. BFF mascara from colourpop in brown: I actually really liked this but don’t know why I haven’t bought it again. WRP
6. AOA velour eyeshadow: I didn’t like this. The packaging broke immediately, the color didn’t show up and the formula moved around, creased and didn’t last WNRP
7. chanel les beiges skin tint: I love this it doesn’t look like you’re wearing any makeup at all just face tuned. I’ve bought this in a full size even with the price tag. I’ve also convinced 4 other friends to buy this and they all love it WRP
8. AOA velour eyeshadow in a mauve color: see above WNRP
9. Sephora singles in in shock choc and pyramid: I really like these they’re a slightly putty formula but don’t dry out in a magnetic palette, stay on the lids nicely and don’t crease WRP
10. NYX glitter goals eyeliner in gold: I bought this for a new years event and it worked for that. I used it occasionally after that but I’m personally not a huge fan of glitters near my eyes. Served it’s purpose tho WNRP
11. Kaja beauty bento: I was really sad about this one. I wanted to love it cause it had everything going for it but the colors just wouldn’t show up on my eyes. WNRP
12. L’occitane shower oil: a classic love this for winter WRP
13. Jaclyn hill palette in ring the alarm: I liked the colors a lot but then I got better palettes tgag didn’t crease like this one and had better longevity. Also I think it was expired cause my eyes got super itchy every time I wore it. WNRP
14. Tatcha the dewy skin cream: this came in the sephora birthday gift and I don’t understand the hype. I much prefer other moisturizers over this. Not a bad formula just not worth the price tag imo. WNRP
15. E.l.f. powder brush: it was nice but the top came off and wouldn’t stay on even gluing it back together. Lasted me about 5ish years and for about as many dollars. WRP
16. AOA eyeshadow brush: same issue as above where the metal part wouldn’t stay on. I got the whole set and I like the others so I may have just gotten a bad one. For the price it’s worth it I think. WRP
17. MAC fix+: I honestly don’t get the hype around this or any other sprays. I just don’t see a difference in makeup longevity. WNRP
18. Amika perk up Dry shampoo: another sephora birthday gift. I actually liked this one but I try not to use drt shampoos cause I’ve heard it can cause hair loss. WNRP because it doesn’t fit my lifestyle but I think it’s a good product
19. Laneige water bank cream: I liked this for the summer. I just think I have other moisturizers I like more WRP
20. IT cosmetics confidence in a cream: my mom actually used this but she said she really liked it and I ended up buying her a full size. WRP
21. Beauty 360 micellar water: this was actually my roommates so idk
22. L’occitane shower oil: a classic love this for winter WRP
23. Kevin Murphy everlasting color wash: my hairstylist told me to use this when I had my hair dyed to make the color last longer. Tbh the color didn’t last very long but I also have naturally dark black hair so it may have been that. That said I really enjoyed the smell and felt like it cleaned my scalp well while also keeping out frizz. WRP maybe a different line
24. Dp hue apple cider vinegar hair rinse: this works really well when you have a lot of build up in your hair. However I think I could just use apple cider vinegar and get the same results so I probably WNRP
25. Bobbi brown makeup remover: worked well, didn’t irritate my eyes and leave them feeling oily WRP
26. Laura Mercier translucent setting powder: it’s a nice powder, think I might need a slightly darker color though. I’m currently working through another sample size. WRP
27. Ulta Beauty twisted volume mascara: I really enjoyed this. While you can use it for different volumes I ended up just using the 4 setting WRP
