(Don’t be alarmed by my tremor — I’ve got care for it, I just had extra coffee this morning so it’s more pronounced than usual!)

I’ve loved all of y’all’s Lahar posts, and when I found out Cracked was local, I chose them for one of my BF orders, and busted it out on arrival.

I tried a cat eye on my thumb and pinky and they’re very diffuse. I used the Cracked magnet under on my index finger and over on my middle finger and I don’t see much difference. I used the round end of my wand to try to push a glass bead on my ring fingers (that’s the finish I ultimately like best — I’m going to try some of the pin-prick glass bead methods next time I use it, as an experiment).

Photos and videos just don’t do this polish justice. It’s worth the hype. I’m glad I’m not driving today, since I wouldn’t be able to keep my eyes on the road.

Also, I’m super impressed… Cracked nailed my motorcycle race team’s brand colors better than our screen printer can — my nails are more “on brand” than our merch!

1 x Cracked Sticky base coat
3 x Cracked Lahar (magnetized coats 2 & 3 per above notes)
1 x Cracked Quick Dry Top Coat.

Haven’t done cuticle clean-up yet. I will say — the formula and brush are my HG so far. I have trouble loading brushes enough with one dip to cover the sides of my nails — I prefer to be able to do 3-4 careful swipes from cuticle to tip to fill a nail without pooling. Some of the other magnetics I’ve tried load the brush more so there is more polish to work with, but it isn’t as spreadable so I wind up missing spots especially on the tip sides of my nail (I have a strong c-curve) and have to double dip leading to bumpy or too-thick finishes.

This brush/formula combo was perfect. One dip, full nail coverage, nicely buildable.

After my BF orders (Cracked, Fancy, and an unplanned order from u/Mkheir01 ‘s Etsy thanks to their Phthalo Green experiment the other night) I’m on a no-buy… but I am so glad I picked this one up. It’s truly gorgeous.

I’ll drop a couple pics in the replies in various light, too.
