Mooncat Bloodbender glass bead + observations

Video was taken about 24 hrs after mani was done, with the exception of the index finger, which I redid about 15 mins before the video. You can see that the "bead" in it is a little bit tighter than the rest, but at this point it had already dispersed a bit. The final look is kind of

The formula is a bit thick but very opaque; I did add some thinner to it, but I'm honestly not sure if it made a difference. It's opaque enough that in the future, I'm probably going to do a coat of dark creme polish first and then just do a second thick coat of Bloodbender instead of two coats of Bloodbender.

While the color is beautiful and I genuinely do love it, I do have to say that the burgundy base is very difficult to see, even on the test cateye I did, mostly because it's so dark. Unfortunately I could not get a look at it in direct sunlight because it was rainy and gray all day today.

Velvet would probably be the way to go if you want more of the burgundy since you'll be able to see the base color better, and it won't be next to the bright blue magnetic particles in the way it is in cat eye and glass bead. For cat eye and glass bead, I may leave a little bit at the edges of the nail where it's just one coat of polish so that the burgundy can show better with the lower opacity. Will need to play around with it more.
