I love having two months in a row with empties, especially eyeshadows! I think this is the first time it happened to me, so it’s doubly exciting! As predicted, I used up Cupid on the 22nd of September, after 61 uses this year, and 217 uses in total since tracking.
I’m quite pleased with how empty this palette is looking now. If I really, really try, I *think* I can finish Stolen Kiss. Which would be beyond amazing, as that would be 2/3 of the palette empty, and double the number of eyeshadows used up as I first set out to do. We’ll see how it goes, as I never want to overuse or force myself to use a product just to use it up. As you can see, it’s now repressed, which makes it easier to use, and since using up Cupid, it’s been my go-to shimmer in this palette. It also has a teeny tiny baby pan!
The downside to repressing it with so little eyeshadow left is that it hasn’t adhered to the pan as firmly as before (which was also a repress). Oh well, it just means I won’t take it travelling with me.
**Goals for September**
* focus eyeshadow: Cupid – want to use at least x10
* Didn’t get to my 10 uses this month, because I used it up before that! I was very happy with this eyeshadow, but now that it’s gone, other sparkly topper eyeshadows I have will have more opportunities to shine and be used. I will not be repurchasing an eyeshadow similar to this one.
* try Cupid over Garden
* I’m quite sad I didn’t try this combination earlier in the year, because I liked it a lot! It made Garden a more wearable eyeshadow for me, as I prefer lighter looks. It was still a bit more dramatic than what I’m used to, but it worked well.
* use Garden x5
* I have a “struggle shade” each year I do a PTP, and this year it is Garden. Organically, I don’t reach for it, and I doubt that I’ll reach my goal of 50 uses on it at this point. Which is fine, but I *would* like to learn to like it, if not like it, at least how it can work for me. I think it looked better when I applied Stolen Kiss over it, so that might be the way to go.
**Uses this month and total uses this year in brackets:**
* Lovers x5 (75)
* Cupid x8 (61)
* Bluff – used up in January
* Stolen Kiss x16 (60)
* Confession – used up in March
* Fragonard – used up in August
* Love Letter – used up in May
* Garden x8 (24)
* Rouge x4 (60)
**Goal for October:**
* focus eyeshadow: Garden – want to use at least x10
